INTO THE DEEP · WEEK 2 OF 4: FIXED ON THE HORIZON

Matthew 14:22-33 (NKJV) | Nevill’s Chapel Baptist Church | August 16, 2026

Main Idea: Deep-water faith doesn’t wait for the wind to die down; it walks on the water as long as its eyes stay fixed on Jesus.

Jesus compelled the disciples into the boat; they were in the exact center of His .

A storm is not automatically evidence that you stepped wrong—sometimes the contrary wind is proof you stepped .

Jesus walked on top of the very waves that were trying to them.

Faith doesn't wait for the weather to clear; faith obeys the Lord's before a single condition changes.
