Bro. George Dever is the founding pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Dexter, Maine. He began the work in 2004 with about fifteen people after God laid the town of Dexter on his heart, and in 2012 the congregation moved into a former Methodist church building on Main Street — renovated with the help of Missionary Baptist volunteer crews from around the country. His ministry is church planting and evangelism in a region where gospel-preaching churches are few and far between. Nevill’s Chapel prays for and supports the Dever family’s work in the Northeast.
